Encephalon is required by local law to charge for VAT/Tax. Depending on where the event or product purchase takes place, Encephalon must charge VAT/Tax based on their local requirements. Each country has different rules as far as the percentage we must charge, etc. VAT/Tax is not required in every country that we visit.
