Our accounting department has been working with US states as well as other countries to get compliant with tax laws in all US states and countries that we sell products to. Tax authorities in many US states and countries require us to collect tax on products sold to people ordering from their state/country. Therefore, we have implemented the collection of taxes for products sold to people ordering from these states/countries.

Our system cannot determine if any taxes are due until an address is supplied on the final payment page. Therefore, you would not have seen the final total with the tax amount until you completed your payment option on the PayPal or Apple Pay website and were taken back to our website to complete your order.

However, before you clicked the "Complete Order" button you would have been able to see the final total with the taxes that would be charged. See screenshots below for an example of the processes you would have gone through when using the PayPal Express Checkout or Apple Pay payment option.
