I updated the payment method in my account, but my Dr Joe Live subscription still shows my old payment method. How do I update it?

Updating or adding a payment method to your account does not automatically update the payment method linked to your Dr Joe Live subscription.


If your card has expired, been declined, or you would like to use a different payment method, you will first need to add the new payment method to your account and then update your subscription separately.
 

Step 1: Add your new payment method

  1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard.
  2. Select My Profile.
  3. Scroll down to Payment Methods.
  4. Add and save your new payment method.
  5. Refresh the page once it has been successfully saved.

Step 2: Update your Dr Joe Live subscription

  1. From My Profile, scroll down to Manage Subscriptions.
  2. Locate your Dr Joe Live subscription.
  3. Update the subscription by selecting "Change," then select your saved payment method.******
  4. Save your changes and refresh the page.
  5. Confirm that the subscription now shows the new payment method.

If your subscription was suspended due to a failed payment, it may take up to a day for the payment to be attempted again. You can also check your Dashboard → Dr Joe Live Library. If you're able to access and play the videos in the library, your subscription is active again.

For the best experience, we recommend making these changes from a desktop or computer. Some subscription options, including the option to change or edit your payment method, may not display properly on a mobile device.

Want to delete an old payment method?

If the system is not allowing you to delete an old payment method, it may still be linked to your Dr Joe Live subscription. The system will not allow you to delete a payment method while it is connected to an active subscription.


First, follow the steps above to:

  1. Add your new payment method to your account.
  2. Update your Dr Joe Live subscription to the new payment method.
  3. Save your changes and refresh the page.
  4. Confirm that the subscription is now linked to the new payment method.

Once the old payment method is no longer linked to your subscription, you can return to Payment Methods and delete it.

Once you've updated the payment method for your subscription, your access to the Dr Joe Live Library should be restored automatically.
