How to Create a WhatsApp Group

1. Download WhatsApp Messenger · WhatsApp Messenger for iPhone and iPad · WhatsApp Messenger for Android

2. Open WhatsApp, and select “Agree & Continue” to the Privacy Policy.

3. Confirm your country code and enter your phone number.

4. Enter your name and add an optional profile picture. Click “Done”.

5. To create a community, click the “Communities” button on the bottom toolbar. Click “New Community”.

6. Enter the Community name (i.e. Walk for the World Dallas). Enter an optional description.

7. Click “Create Community”

8. Click the group icon in the upper right hand corner to edit group settings. Click “Edit”.

9. Change the group photo by clicking “Set New Photo”. Add an optional description for the group.

10. Click “Group Type”

· Telegram creates private groups by default.

· To change the group to public, select “Public”.

· Create a custom link to share with others

· Click “Done”.

11. Send messages and connect with others in your Walk for the World group!

How to Create a Telegram Group

1. Download the Telegram App

· Telegram for iPhone and iPad

· Telegram for Android

2. Open the Telegram app, and select “Start Messaging”

3. Confirm your country code, and enter your phone number.

4. To create a group, click the button in the upper right hand corner.

5. Select “New Group”.

6. Add contacts to the group, or click “Next”.

7. Enter the group name (i.e. Walk for the World Dallas)

8. Click “Create”

9. Click the group icon in the upper right hand corner to edit group settings. Click “Edit”.

10. Change the group photo by clicking “Set New Photo”. Add an optional description for the group.

11. Click “Group Type”
